We’ve often wondered about the nuances between Keurig-coffee and McCafe offerings, especially when it comes to decaf. Let’s be honest, not all decaf equals a caffeine-free trade-off-especially not when it comes to McCafe Premium Roast. The 84-count medium roast pods deliver a surprisingly rich, smooth flavor that doesn’t taste watered down. Our mornings are brighter, thanks to the balanced acidity and low bitterness, making it a go-to for post-lunch caffeine tweaks. Texture-wise, the crema is thinner than regular McCafe, but the consistency is disappointingly inconsistent in our Keurig machine. Still, for a premium roast decaf that feels as close as possible to the barista experience-without the barista-these pods hit the mark. We’re sticking with our brew, for now.
